Self-proclaimed prophets are nothing new, and the sheeple who follow them never cease to amaze me.
From Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, and Baha’ullah to Joseph Smith, L. Ron Hubbard, Jim Jones, David Koresh, and Allen Harrod—these guys are a dime a dozen.
And now we can add Pyotr Kuznetsov to the list: a 43-year-old Russian engineer who left [...]

Well… yet another “memoire” writer has been outed for making stuff up.
Misha Defonseca’s book, Misha: A Memoire of the Holocaust Years (also called Survivre avec les loups), tells of her horrific childhood during the Holocaust, of how the Nazis seized her parents, of how she wandered the forests and villages of Europe for four years [...]

Remember that guy who fired three employees because they were disruptive non-smokers?
Well, turns out the story was a hoax!
A hoax he was responsible for perpetuating, by the way.
The journalist who originally published the story, said the company owner, Thomas Joschko, later admitted to her it was a joke, but was not remorseful.
Apparently, he was on [...]

The following brilliantly written article, from exchristian.net, provides a unique and humorous take on the events surrounding the disappearance of Jesus from the tomb, along with an entirely new visual for what Christian’s commonly refer to as “The Last Supper.” Bored Again’s theory makes a lot of sense and sheds some light on one of [...]

I don’t know about you, but I receive several fraudulent e-mails every single day. Some are more blatantly evil than others. Here’s one I got today that I find particularly vile:
From: Madam Rita Osborne.

Leicester, L15,
England.
Here writes Madam Rita Osborne, suffering from cancerous ailment. I am
married to Sir Williams an Englishman who is dead. [...]

I read today, in the Globe and Mail, that a former funeral director from British Columbia, Canada is facing charges in a “cremation controversy.”
Before it closed, in 2005, the Princeton-Similkameen Funeral Service had, allegedly, been defrauding families - apparently for more than 50 years - by presenting them with urns filled with either kitty litter [...]

Further to my previous post… I was right, of course.
I found this on Facebook, from an “official” Facebook blogger:
Recently, chain letters have started to spread across Facebook with all sorts of misinformation. Let’s get some information out there about how we communicate to you about Facebook. Right now, there are only four ways that we [...]
