Christian Cult Predicts End of the World Next Month!

Self-proclaimed prophets are nothing new, and the sheeple who follow them never cease to amaze me.
From Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, and Baha’ullah to Joseph Smith, L. Ron Hubbard, Jim Jones, David Koresh, and Allen Harrod—these guys are a dime a dozen.
And now we can add Pyotr Kuznetsov to the list: a 43-year-old Russian engineer who left [...]

Best-Selling Holocaust Memoire a Hoax

Well… yet another “memoire” writer has been outed for making stuff up.
Misha Defonseca’s book, Misha: A Memoire of the Holocaust Years (also called Survivre avec les loups), tells of her horrific childhood during the Holocaust, of how the Nazis seized her parents, of how she wandered the forests and villages of Europe for four years [...]

The Joke’s On Us!

Remember that guy who fired three employees because they were disruptive non-smokers?

England.
Here writes Madam Rita Osborne, suffering from cancerous ailment. I am
married to Sir Williams an Englishman who is dead. [...]

Funeral Home Scandal: Kitty Litter Substituted for Deceased’s Ashes!

I read today, in the Globe and Mail, that a former funeral director from British Columbia, Canada is facing charges in a “cremation controversy.”
Before it closed, in 2005, the Princeton-Similkameen Funeral Service had, allegedly, been defrauding families - apparently for more than 50 years - by presenting them with urns filled with either kitty litter [...]

Further to… Facebook Prank

Further to my previous post… I was right, of course.
I found this on Facebook, from an “official” Facebook blogger:
Recently, chain letters have started to spread across Facebook with all sorts of misinformation. Let’s get some information out there about how we communicate to you about Facebook. Right now, there are only four ways that we [...]
