This is so outrageous, I can barely contain my anger!
Mandi Hamlin is demanding an apology and a civil rights investigation, after being forced by US Transportation Security staff, at a Texas airport, to remove her nipple rings because she’d set off a hand-held metal detector.

Yikes! Further to my fear of flying, I just saw this on cnews:
A GB Airways flight was forced to land in Istanbul on Sunday after the co-pilot, 43-year-old Michael Warren, died in mid-flight! The Airbus A320 was carrying 156 passengers from Manchester to Paphos, Cyprus before a “medical emergency” diverted the plane.
