Smiling US Marine Throws Live Puppy Off Cliff in Iraq
A user going by the name of “johnstonkim” posted a disturbing video on YouTube, showing a smiling US marine tossing an innocent puppy off a cliff in Iraq.
Some are thinking the video might be a hoax, but it certainly looks real.
The video, which appears to be shot with a cell phone, has already been removed from YouTube; however, I found another copy of it here.
It shows two grinning Marines dressed in combat gear. One is holding the black and white puppy by the scruff of its neck.
The creep holding the pup says, “Cute little puppy, huh?” And the other responds, “Oh so cute, so cute little puppy.”
The smiling killing machine then tosses the dog into the ravine below. The poor creature can be heard yelping as it flies through the air, until it hits the rocks below.
The second marine says sarcastically, “That’s mean.”
What brave, brave soldiers. I’m sure their mothers would be proud.

I’ve watched the video over and over and I’m convinced 100% that it’s real. My #1 reason for believing so is that I live near Monroe WA (where the soldier is from) - it’s a town of inbred crackers. That dog is not fake and it’s not dead (until it hits the ground). The soldier is not fake either, but we can still hope for his early death.
Yikes! Hope for his death!? That’s unwarranted.
Anyway, I take issue with the title of this post. You have no evidence that the puppy was alive in this video. It’s a sick and disturbing video to say the least but it is disingenuous to claim that the puppy is alive.
Don’t you people have a pause button…the video is cut right before he throws it and you can see another hand ready to give him the fake. What a bunch of suckers. And the cracker commenting idiot doesn’t even qualify to be an American. Putrid human waste would be accurate. Anyone wishing for an American soldiers death belongs in front of a firing squad for treason.
Anyone arguing that he quickly replaced the real dog with a fake dog must be out of their mind. You can clearly see that the object thrown down the ravine perfectly matches the dog in size and shape….do you honestly think that these marines are going to somehow manage to suddenly sew together an exact replica of the dog.
The guy’s hand, holding the dog, disappears from camera momentarily only because he was making a forceful toss.
And that dog yelp is exactly the sound a dog makes when in extreme danger and faded and then stopped exactly when it hit the bottom.
After seeing this I was so distressed that I calmed down by immediatley watching clips on marines who had brought dogs home from iraq.

It’s a documented fact that those who abuse animals will sooner or later start abusing/killing humans.

Ok … I have watched this video and several others … Nick there is NO switch off! However, that IS NOT THE POINT !!!!! Alive or dead, the MARINE did a terrible thing!
My husband served honorably in the US Marine Corp during Bosnia. My grandfather served honorably during WWII. My father served in the Army just after Vietnam. They are my heros….the Marine in this video is a terrible example of what is serving our country. No one hears about the good, the child that a Marine saved … or bombs that were cleared so that villagers would be safe or the animals brought home!
Everyone will hear about this. It is another mark against our country. Another thing to laugh at us about. Another thing to make people hate us. What were YOU thinking? You represent this country in and out of uniform. You stand for what is moral about the US. The Marines live by a standard rivaled by none. I am embarrassed to be an American!
It doesn’t matter if the animal were alive or dead, what this substandard human did was disgusting (to say the least). He should not be able to wear the uniform. If he’s going to do this to a helpless animal - what will he do to the people of Iraq?

David Motari was wearing the uniform of a U.S. Marine when he did what he did and laughed about it. He represents this country in an effort to bring democracy to another nation, and instead he makes us all look like arrogant barbarians with no respect for innocent life. What kind of moral nation sends monsters who kill baby animals to bring democracy to another nation? He should be courtmartialed. By the way, his actions have inspired a lot of angry people to torment and harass his family, which is awful. His family did not do this; he did, and the family should be left alone. But had he not acted in such a vile manner, nobody would be bothering his family, so this act has had ramifications all over the place. He should be very ashamed of himself for all the grief he has caused to his unit, his family, the Marines, and anyone who’s seen that awful video.

As most of you here, I, too, am appalled at the antics of these marines. they should be court marshalled for sure and indeed should have to be remembered through their lives as the ASSHOLES who not only killed an innocent animal for NO REASON, but also as the ASSHOLES who helped to make Americans and the United States look even worse than we already do. However, I also must comment on the fact that these are what, 2 or 3 guys who got bored and who probably shouldn’t even be in the military anyway? Lets not forget that there are thousands of great men and women serving their country in various parts of the world, who each and every day put themselves in harms way to help people of other nations. i’ve seen pictures and read reports and letters of those who do great humanitarian deeds and treat people with respect. the problem is the news media doesn’t seem to want to report the good things that are happening with our military. like most of you, i’d be happy if all our troops came home, but that’s not gonna happen any time soon. in the meantime, let’s support those that ARE over there in the desert lands fighting for freedom, not just for us, but for those who are oppressed. AND let me remind you all that those Americans serving in the military are ALL volunteers!!! No one twisted their arms to sign up, most are there because they chose to be. after all, if those fanatics who invaded our shores on 9/11/01 had stayed in their own yard and let the rest of the world practice whatever freedoms or religion they want, then we wouldn’t be in this mess. the wrong people are being blamed. its the F’ing AHABS who want to turn the world into a bunch of Muslims and make women slaves, who are to blame. i say blow them all to bits, and send Mortari and his buddies with them.

I’ve been scouring the internet and haven’t found any updates. If the investigation is an internal one, I doubt the results will be made public, unless someone leaks the information.

These actions have disgraced the nation, whether the puppy was dead or alive. To so blatantly film this and have this published on You Tube is a direct violation of everything the Marine Corps has taught us.
I am so glad these young troops had time to film the incident and put it on the internet; while I was having my legs and an arm blown off.

My parnets saved that dog they were in Kuwait on vacation. While they were driving they sawe that dog and took it to the hospital. Now he is O.K.
We named him Uncle Sam. He only had two broken legs and some ribs.
