I’ve already blogged about this over at Ask Anita. But, for those of you who don’t read my other blog, here it is again…
So… have you heard about Karla-Rae Morris?
She’s a 26-year-old Canadian woman who has received $8,000 (yes, $8000!) in donations (yup! DONATIONS) to have her breasts enlarged!
“How did she manage that?” you ask.

I bet these kids started out by torturing defenseless animals…
Seventeen-year-old, Cheyenne Blanton, and 16-year-old, Joseph Nagle, have been charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, felonious assault, and vandalism, after spending more than six hours torturing 18-year-old, Ashley Clark, in her home, after her mother left for work.
The teens tied up Ms. Clark, clubbed her, kicked [...]

Yikes! Further to my fear of flying, I just saw this on cnews:
A GB Airways flight was forced to land in Istanbul on Sunday after the co-pilot, 43-year-old Michael Warren, died in mid-flight! The Airbus A320 was carrying 156 passengers from Manchester to Paphos, Cyprus before a “medical emergency” diverted the plane.
According to their website, [...]

I’m afraid of flying at the best of times, mostly due to lack of control should something go wrong while I’m trapped 30,000 feet above the ground. Here’s a perfect example of just such a situation…
According to a story on CNN.com, 44-year-old Carine Desir died on an American Airlines flight, because she didn’t receive the [...]

As usual, religious militants are ruining things for everybody. This time, thousands of Muslim women were prevented from casting their ballots in a Pakistani election.
Forty-seven people were killed by a suicide bomber in an election rally on Saturday, and signs were posted in towns outside Peshawar, warning candidates not to bring their female supporters to [...]

What annoys me about the politically correct concept of “religious tolerance,” is that at any given time anyone can cry discrimination.
You let a guy get off for riding his motorcycle in a turban, and the next thing you know, Aqsa Parvez’s old man will be getting away with murder, because “honor killings” are part of [...]
